Here is my finished human anatomy study model. There is definitely more I would like to work on with it at a later date, but for now it’s done. This is the first model I have ever made using Mudbox. I like the program, it’s obviously very similar to ZBrush

Mudbox Character

Hey all, sorry for such a long gap in posting, things have been crazy busy!! Here is a character I have been working on for one of my classes. I built the low poly model in Maya, and then I have been teaching myself Mudbox and sculpting the high poly model there.

Here is the low poly model.

I took the low poly model into Mudbox, subdivided it a few times, then began to just outline where the muscles would be.

Here I just worked some more on the torso.

Here I am working on the upper arm.

More drawings. Here again we started with a picture, but put the model in a completely different outfit. The emphasis was on drawing believable folds in the clothing.

Here are some of the drawings I’ve been doing for my character design class. We were given photos of the models, and the assignment was to start from the photograph, but stylize our drawings. I decided to try doing my drawings in the Art Deco propaganda poster style. Below are two of the models as an example of what I started from, then the drawings.
